Bio

Juan Manuel Lucero on stage

I help leaders and executive teams understand how their industry is changing and turn that change into decisions: what to innovate, how to transform the organization and where artificial intelligence really adds value. I do it through talks and through advisory work for senior management at Lifeworld Labs.

For seven years I led Google News Lab for the 18 Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America, and then Google's news partnerships in the Southern Cone. I worked with news organizations across the region on their digital transformation and brought new tools, including artificial intelligence, to more than 60,000 journalists and professionals. I also drove Reverso, the coalition of more than 100 Argentine news organizations that verified information during elections. Before that I founded an agency and a digital strategy consultancy, with clients in ten countries, among them Fortune 500 companies.

I have given more than 600 talks in ten countries on innovation, digital transformation and artificial intelligence, and I co-founded TEDxCórdoba, where for years I coached the speakers for the stage. I teach in the graduate programs of Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and Universidad Austral. I hold an Executive MBA and studied digital transformation and artificial intelligence at Stanford, MIT, Cornell and Kellogg.
